Annamalai Exposed : TN BJP President picks up a civil dispute and “sells” it as scam – Savukku EXCLUSIVE

In a desparate attempt to portray DMK government in bad light, Annamalai picks up a civil litigation before the Madras High Court, between two parties over a tender and sell it off as a scam in the media.  He said, 100 crores had exchanged hands.  The tender is for the supply of baby kits and nutrition kit.  Government insists on quality products like Johnson & Johnson.   How much price can a dealer hike in a baby soap ?  Will any dealer pay 25% of the tender value as bribe ?  This is the one of the several absurd charges made by Annamalai on Sunday.

TN BJP President Annamalai, a few days back,  dared that he will be dropping a huge bombshell viz Major corruption charges against two DMK Ministers.  On Sunday Annamalai met the press and made a few charges regarding Government.   The bombshell promised by Annamalai turned out to be a dud.

Annamalai charged that “Annamalai alleged that the health mix provided as part of the maternal nutrition kit by a private company was expensive by about 60% compared to Aavin and the iron syrup supplement was around ₹180/unit more compared to the ones procured by the Tamil Nadu Medical Supplies Corporation.”

Another allegation made by Annamalai indirectly made an allegation about the G Square realty firm, regarding which he failed to produce any evidence.”

Our investigation reveals that,  the Minister for Health and Family Welfare Maa. Subramaniam, immediately clarified that the tender in question has not even been finalized.

So why would Annamalai come out with a half baked charge, which the government with all its resources can rebut in a jiffy ?

In this Savukku exclusive investigation various shocking facts emerged.

A highly placed source from the Health department spoke on condition of anonymity.  The source said, “This firm is a benami firm of farmer Health Minister C. Vijayabaskar.   Vijayabaskar during the ADMK tenure floated several such benami firms and cornered all the major tenders for himself.  This is why he was entrusted with the money distribution for the nullified RK Nagar by-election.

This firm is handled by one Ramachandran, who is a native of Gandarvakottai, Pudukottai District.   The firm is run in the name and style of Shri Shanti Surgicare.  This is a partnership firm. This firm too functions from Pudukottai.  It functions at, No. 18, Ezhil Nagar, Pudukottai, 622 005.

This firm belonging to C. Vijayabaskar made a killing. It supplied masks, PPE kits, etc.   Further, this firm Shanti Surgicare was the supplier for nutrition kits for the neonatals, also.

Now, in the tender floated by the government on 16.02.2022, for supply of Nutritious Kit to Health Department.   Shanti Surgicare was one of the bidder.

The Tender Committee of the Government, considered all the tenders and rejected the tender of Shanthi Surgicare as it failed to qualify the Technical scrutiny.  Aggrieved by this rejection and by the earlier rejection of plea to modify tender conditions, Shanthi Surgicare moved the Madras HC   in WP No. 13594 of 2022 and sought a stay of the tender, and also to quash the tender and also came up with an audacious prayer, “direct the government to award the tender to Shanthi Surgicare”

Earlier,  Shanti Surgicare became the successful bidder in Puducherry where this scheme is implemented in a different name.   This is where the connection of Amar Prasad Reddy and Annamalai comes.   Feeling owed to Annamalai, TN BJP President, who pulled some strings in favour of Shanti Surgicare, and ensured order to the firm.

As mentioned before, Ramachandran, an employee of C. Vijayabaskar, looking after the affairs of Shanti Surgicare on behalf of C. Vijayabaskar, wanted to enter politics and decided to join BJP, as his boss Vijayabaskar is already in ADMK.

Ramachandran a native of Thenkanikottai was actually a front for C. Vijayabaskar.   Ramachandran joined BJP around three months back, before Annamalai, an event which was not publicized for strategic reasons.

The conspiracy to milk Ramachandran for the personal benefit of Annamalai was hatched along with Amar Prasad Reddy. Amar submitted a proposal to Ramachandran about giving an office space in prime location in Chennai, and deliver a pay package of 20 lakhs every month.

This alternate accommodation was necessitated following the exposé by this author. The earlier building at Anna Nagar belonged to the Surana family who are mired in multiple CBI & ED cases. Following the expose, Annamalai was forced to vacate the building.

A deal was entered with and Ramachandran delivered a prime office space in a building adjacent to SRB Tools building at Adyar, Chennai.   The pay package of 20 lakhs per month is delivered promptly by Ramachandran.  A parallel IT wing, for the personal benefit of Annamalai which was functioning at Anna Nagar was moved here.  The only job of this IT wing is to promote Annamalai in all the social media forums and handle trending in twitter and also to troll critics.  This author is a victim of this troll army.

As a quid pro quo, Amar Prasad Reddy, promptly appointed Ramachandran as Pudukottai district President of TN BJP Sports & Skill Development Wing (Skill of cheating ?) on 02.06.2022.

After giving free accommodation and paying 20 lakhs per month, Ramachandran decided to boss over TN BJP President, to which Annamalai meekly agreed.   This is the reason why Annamalai conducted a haphazard presser to interfere with an ongoing tender.

According to highly placed sources in Health Department, the tender for nutrition packs has not even half way through.  The tender is just in pre-Technical Bid stage.

We sought the remarks of TN BJP President K. Annamalai about the allegations against him.  Thiru. Annamalai replied in WhatsApp as follows : “The source for my press meet is definitely not Ramachandran. Our team is working on the companies that were part of the Pongal gift. While tracking 7 of those companies, came across this Anitha Tex cot a few months back.”

The reasoning given by Annamalai doesn’t sound convincing.   We stumbled upon one more piece of evidence regarding the Ramachandran – Shanti Surgicare connection.  Simply put, Annamalai has supported one party in a civil dispute, for whatever reasons that is best known to him.

When the Covid was at peak and Shanti Surgicare was doing thriving business, they created digital cards for advertising their brand of mask – Amirtha N95 mask.   In the card, three phone numbers have been mentioned.

The numbers stand in the name of Ramachandran and Amirtha Ramachandran.

With such overwhelming evidence, the reasoning of Annamalai sounds lame and unconvincing.

Now it seems that, only to avoid questions like above, Thiru. Annamalai is so discordant with the media.
